Friends and members of the local community gathered on May 10th for the Art & Spirit exhibit at the Putney Friends Meeting house. Roger Vincent Jasaitis exhibited his contemporary landscape paintings and Matthew Wright read his insightful poetry to an appreciative audience. A lively discussion followed with observations by the artists and audience in the links between art and spirituality. Participants were moved to ask if this type of event could happen again and include other artists and art forms for exploration.
